Do you have any of these licenses? (It’s ok if you don’t. We just need to know.)
Use the space below to tell us about your educational history including any certificates or academic achievements that you are proud of. You can include certifications you received during your incarceration.
Please list any and all jobs you had while incarcerated or otherwise. Include employer, start and end date, and a description of your position. Note: it is TOTALLY okay if you do not have any work experience.
At Drive Change we specifically hire young people who have spent time in the adult criminal justice system. We do not need to know all the details of your charge/case, but we do need a little general information for our records. Please include the following information to the best of your ability, for each charge/conviction:1) Date of incarceration, 2) Are you on any sort of supervision? (i.e. parole or probation? If so, list your PO's contact information), 3) Do you have a mandated curfew? If so, please describe. (i.e. house arrest, probation/parole, housing curfew, etc.)
Please write a personal essay reflecting on yourself and this opportunity. We want to know about you and how your experiences have shaped you into who you are today. Below are some questions to use as a framework to construct your essay. They do not need to be answered individually: What do you like about Drive Change? Why do you want to be a part of this Fellowship? What have you learned from your time in jail/prison? Why has this been impactful to you? What motivates you, and why? What experience/skills/character traits can you bring to this opportunity? What do you think you can bring to the Fellowship?
