Dining with Drive Change means directly impacting the lives of returning citizens who are striving to create futures for themselves in the culinary industry.
Our Fellows work diligently to prepare delicious farm-fresh meals that are both seasonal and sustainable.
We believe food is a tool that can be used to spark conversation and build community. Come have a meal with Drive Change, and help us rethink the social justice system.
DC recognizes Battery Park & Randall's island Urban Farm for their seasonal, weekly donations of produce.
A Food Truck for Social Justice
Our truck is a vehicle for social justice. Quality is at the top of our grocery list. Our menu is entirely sustainable, changing based on what’s available. Each item on our menu is a reflection of New York’s most seasonal ingredients, and our vision of using food as a tool for education and impact. To further our mission, we have created the A+A (Awareness + Access) initiative. We will be curating 2 events per month: One dedicated to a social justice issue, and one dedicated to feeding food insecure neighborhoods.
Change up your next meeting or event by hiring one of our formerly incarcerated catering partners. They specialize in providing high-end, farm-to-table meals to groups looking for a quality culinary experience. From prep and planning to day-of details, our partners provide a different yet delicious experience to any event.
